Paraplex Coupling CPE is a pin-bushing type coupling that uses aluminum alloy for its body material. By combining high-precision pins and dry metal, it is designed to suppress backlash to an extremely small level. With a compact design that minimizes overall length, the allowable angular misalignment is 1°. Because the connection of each hub is a universal type, axial reaction force due to mounting errors is minimized. In addition, due to the sliding effect from the friction surface of the pins and dry metal, it also has a damping effect. Mounting to the shaft adopts a friction-based clamp method, making installation easy. It demonstrates excellent performance in various applications such as chip mounters, electrical discharge machines, financial terminal equipment, and winding machines.
