ZEISS XENOS is a coordinate measuring machine developed to meet the highest precision requirements. It features a new machine design based on the success of ZEISS CenterMax, utilizing linear drives in all axes and silicon carbide ceramics to minimize the effects of thermal expansion. This results in high rigidity and low weight. The outcome is optimal measuring performance with extremely high positioning accuracy, even when operating at high speeds.

Innovative Machine Design: By separating the moving axis from the workpiece area and only moving the crossbeam in the Y direction, the moving mass remains constant.
Use of Linear Drives: The use of linear drives in all axes enables extremely high positioning accuracy and straightness, even when moving at high speeds and rapid acceleration.
Virtual Zero Drive: Driving the Y-axis from zero helps to optimize the drive force according to the X-axis position, improving accuracy and tracking capability.
Use of Silicon Carbide Ceramics: The use of silicon carbide ceramics, which have low thermal expansion and high rigidity, enhances accuracy.
Optimized VAST gold Sensor: Equipped with an optimized VAST gold sensor for higher accuracy and repeatability.
