EXAIR Cabinet Coolers
EXAIR Cabinet Coolers are a low-cost, reliable way to cool and purge electronic control panels. EXAIR Cabinet Coolers have no moving parts and incorporate a vortex tube that generates cold air from compressed air. Compact cabinet coolers can be installed in minutes using a standard electrical knockout. NEMA 12, 4, and 4X Cabinet Coolers, which meet the enclosure's NEMA rating, offer various cooling capacities for small and large control panels.
Environmental Considerations
・NEMA 12 (IP54): Dust-tight, oil-tight, and ideal for general industrial environments where liquids and corrosive materials are not present.
・NEMA 4 (IP66): Dust-tight, oil-tight, splash-proof, and suitable for indoor/outdoor use. It incorporates a low-pressure relief valve in both the vortex tube and the cabinet exhaust. This valve closes and seals when the cooler is not operating, maintaining the integrity of the NEMA 4 enclosure.
・NEMA 4X (IP66): Provides the same protection as NEMA 4 but is constructed from stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments.
