The Hitachi "OSP Series" is an oil-lubricated screw type that excels in economy, environmental performance, and maintainability.
With a lineup of both fixed-speed and inverter types, flexible selection is possible according to the operating environment and load characteristics.
Product Features
✔ Robust oil-lubricated design for stable operation
The OSP series adopts a highly durable screw compression mechanism. Designed to withstand continuous operation, it achieves long-term stable operation.
Equipped with an air end featuring further evolved rotor tooth profiles. Discharge air volume is increased by up to 2.4% compared to conventional models.
Improved cooling efficiency within the unit enhances operating capability at high ambient temperatures. Operable even at a maximum ambient temperature of 50°C. (Continuous operation recommended up to 45°C)
✔ Two operating types for different applications
◎ Fixed-speed type: Suitable for sites with relatively constant loads, offering simple and reliable operation.
◎ Inverter type: Ideal for lines with fluctuating loads. Controls motor speed according to air consumption, maximizing energy-saving effects.
✔ Intelligent Control
Equipped with a "Operating Pressure Maintenance Function" that prevents the pressure from dropping below the set point, eliminating the need to set it higher, unlike previous inverter models. Also features a "PQ Wide Mode" that increases discharge volume by lowering the maximum rotation speed. Furthermore, the fixed-speed models come standard with "ECOMODE" to contribute to energy saving.
✔ Improved Operability and Maintainability
A highly visible control panel, easy-to-understand displays, and an accessible maintenance structure ensure smooth daily inspections and maintenance.
Lubricant replacement is every 2 years.
Newly developed lubricant with excellent high-temperature durability suppresses foaming. Initially filled with the new compressor-specific oil "NEW HISCREW OIL NEXT."
With a combination of high-load bearings with high load capacity and a high-precision lubricant filtration system, the compressor unit overhaul is every 8 years.

Soundproof panels and a compact casing allow installation even in limited factory spaces. Minimizes impact on the working environment.
