The SAXM series from SCHMALZ consists of vacuum cups specifically designed for thin sheet metal with oil film. Made from Elastodur material, which offers approximately three times higher wear resistance and ozone resistance than nitrile rubber, ensuring a long service life. With a soft, large-stroke, bell-shaped design, it is ideal for gripping workpieces with curved surfaces, such as wheels. Furthermore, grooves on the suction surface allow oil to escape, making it suitable for high-speed transport of thin sheet metal with oil film. It comes with a foot brake that prevents pulling or deformation of thin workpieces during suction. Available in a size range from Φ30mm to Φ115mm to accommodate various applications.
