Effortless One-Click Hardness Testing.
The Mitutoyo Pocket Vick HH-V400 is a new rebound-type portable hardness tester designed for instant, one-click measurement of various metals. This cordless device, powered by a rechargeable battery for up to 8 hours, is ideal for on-site testing of hard-to-access objects, featuring automatic angle correction for measurements in any direction. The HH-V400 supports a wide range of test targets with interchangeable detectors (standard, compact, deep groove, extended types) suitable for narrow spaces or complex geometries. It converts Leeb hardness values into multiple scales, including Vickers (43-950 HV), Brinell (20-655 HB), Rockwell C (19.3-68.2 HRC), Shore, and Tensile Strength (390-1999 MPa). Technical specifications include a minimum sample thickness of 5 mm and mass of 5 kg, with a surface roughness requirement of Ra 2.0 or less. Its redesigned calculation display boasts a color LCD, storing up to 1800 test results and 100 samples. Key functions include acceptance judgment, offset settings, and statistical calculations. Data output is facilitated via SPC, USB, or wirelessly with U-WAVE, enhancing user-friendliness and data management for diverse industrial applications.
