Technoplast (Thailand) Co., Ltd. specializes in plastic machining at its own factory in Thailand. In addition to a quality control system based on Japanese standards, Technoplast also utilizes annealing, a heat-treatment process offered by only a limited number of companies in Thailand. This process helps address common quality issues in plastic parts, such as dimensional changes, warpage, and distortion caused by residual stress.

We provide comprehensive support, from material selection based on material properties, application, required precision, and operating environment, through to machining and inspection.

■　High-Precision CNC Milling & Turning (Precision Plastic Machining & CNC Milling)

Through machining processes that do not require molds, we can respond quickly to a wide range of needs, from a single prototype to mass production. We are capable of fully integrated in-house processing, from fingertip-sized miniature parts to large components with a maximum cutting size of 100 × 1,000 × 2,000 mm.

Our factory environment is controlled at 25°C ±2°C to minimize expansion and contraction of plastic materials caused by temperature changes. This enables us to consistently maintain and deliver high dimensional accuracy, with a standard tolerance of ±0.05 mm and, depending on the shape, tolerances as precise as ±0.03 mm.

■　Warpage and Deformation Mitigation via Post-Machining Heat Treatment (Annealing Service)

Our plant is equipped with industrial-grade heat treatment ovens, allowing us to perform critical in-house thermal annealing, a service provided by very few shops in Thailand. This process effectively removes moisture and relieves internal residual stresses generated during extrusion and machining, successfully preventing long-term warping, distortion, or shrinkage in final applications.

■　Material Optimization & Global Procurement

We have established a global procurement network covering Japan, China, Europe, the United States, and other regions worldwide. This enables us to source specialty plastic materials and super engineering plastics that are difficult to obtain in Thailand.

With our in-depth knowledge of plastic material properties, we also provide optimal material recommendations based on each application and required performance. For example, for parts that require heat resistance up to 200°C, we may propose changing from high-cost PEEK to PPS to optimize costs. We can also recommend switching to “Unilate,” a high-hardness resin laminate, to help reduce wear. In this way, we are able to offer solutions that meet performance requirements while contributing to cost reduction.
