Thermal insulation coating is a processing technology that involves applying a special paint with the function of suppressing heat transfer to the surface of a substrate. It primarily incorporates ceramic microparticles with low thermal conductivity, and by blocking or reflecting heat transfer, it suppresses temperature changes in the coated object. Its applications are diverse, including reducing air conditioning load by applying it to the roofs and exterior walls of factory buildings, improving energy efficiency through heat retention and cold insulation of pipes and tanks, improving the working environment and preventing burns by reducing the surface temperature of furnace walls and equipment, and preventing condensation. Application is carried out using brushes, rollers, and spray guns, similar to general painting. Since it can be easily retrofitted to existing facilities, it contributes to energy saving and quality maintenance.
