By applying paint formulated with conductive fillers (such as copper, nickel, and silver) to the surface of resin enclosures and other components, a conductive layer is formed, which reflects, absorbs, and attenuates electromagnetic waves. Its main applications include preventing malfunctions in smartphones, PCs, medical devices, and automotive electronic components, ensuring compliance with EMC regulations, and implementing information security measures. While spray coating is a common application method, dip coating and screen printing are also employed. Since the film thickness and the uniform dispersion of conductive fillers directly impact shielding performance, strict quality control is required.
