About Parkerizing (phosphate film)
Hot-dip galvanizing (for medium-sized items: such as engine covers) is widely used as an excellent anti-corrosion treatment for steel products. By immersing parts in a molten zinc bath, a strong zinc layer is formed, powerfully protecting the steel substrate from corrosion. It is particularly applied to products requiring durability and having relatively complex shapes, such as engine covers, various brackets, and industrial machine parts, which are categorized as "medium-sized items." A key feature of this processing method is its ability to protect even scratched areas due to zinc's sacrificial corrosion protection effect. After pre-treatment (degreasing, pickling), parts are immersed in the zinc bath following flux treatment, then cooled and inspected. This achieves long-term corrosion resistance and excellent cost performance.
