Tensile Membrane Structures for ITCC project development | Tomas Engineering Samut Prakan Thailand

A membrane structure is an architectural structure that uses highly flexible fabric or membrane materials as the primary component. These materials are stretched and tensioned using steel frames, poles, or cables to create a strong and durable form. Membrane structures are often used in large roofing constructions that require flexibility and lightweight properties, such as stadiums, open-air theaters, or exhibition spaces.
Tomas Engineering's membrane structure technology allows ITCC to take on a new role as a transportation hub, creating a bright, comfortable and shaded space.
The ITCC project, completed in 2019, is an excellent example of Tomas Engineering's membrane structure technology. This technology is lightweight and highly safe, and creates a bright and comfortable space for users by letting in natural light and providing comfortable shade. It is applied to a variety of public spaces, such as transportation nodes such as stations, airports, and ports, and rest areas in parks.
