Housed Unit Bearings
Timken offers a wide range of robust housed units for spherical, tapered, and ball bearings. For spherical bearings, you can choose from solid block steel housings and split block (SNT/SAF) cast iron housings. To protect bearings in dirty or contaminated environments, Timken offers various sealing and end cover options.
Spherical Roller Bearings
Spherical bearings are designed to manage high radial loads even in the presence of misalignment, poor lubrication, contamination, extreme speeds, or critical application stresses.
Cylindrical Roller Bearings
Leveraging 80 years of experience, Timken designs and manufactures cylindrical roller bearings, continuously improving their performance, including size range and configurations. These include inch and metric, single-row, double-row, and four-row designs.
Tapered Roller Bearings
Tapered bearings are uniquely designed to manage both thrust and radial loads in rotating shafts and housings. We manufacture nearly 26,000 bearing combinations – in single-row, double-row, and four-row configurations. These bearings may feature customized geometries and engineered surfaces to further enhance performance in demanding applications.
Thrust Bearings
Timken thrust bearings are specifically designed to manage thrust loads in a variety of industrial and automotive applications. We manufacture thrust bearings in five basic designs: ball, cross-roller, cylindrical roller, tapered roller, and spherical roller, catering to applications across the industry.
