ModuMiniTurn is a modular turning tool system provided by Tungaloy, ideal for use especially in Swiss-type automatic lathes and small lathes. Its modular design enables quick and easy tool changes and setup, contributing to improved productivity and reduced downtime.

- High-Precision Positioning
An advanced coupling mechanism is adopted at the connection point between the modular head and shank, achieving a positional repeatability of the cutting point within ±5μm. This maintains high machining accuracy even after tool changes.
- Rapid Tool Change
Tool changes can be easily performed by simply loosening the clamp screw, significantly reducing setup time. This maximizes machine utilization.
- Diverse Modular Heads
A lineup of modular heads is available to support various machining applications such as front turning, back turning, grooving, threading, cut-off, and Y-axis turning. This allows one system to meet diverse machining needs.
- Internal Coolant Supply
All modular heads are designed with internal coolant channels, supplying high-pressure coolant directly near the cutting point. This improves chip evacuation and contributes to extended tool life.
- Y-Axis Machining Approach
By adopting Y-axis feed instead of conventional X-axis feed, downward chip evacuation becomes possible, improving chip evacuation. Furthermore, machining stability is enhanced.
ModuMiniTurn enables high-precision positioning and rapid tool changes, and flexibly responds to diverse machining needs. This simultaneously achieves improved productivity and cost reduction.
