Revolutionizing the transfer of oiled thin steel sheets: the SAXM series. A vacuum cup equipped with durability and flexibility, reliably gripping workpieces of all shapes.
SCHMALZ's SAXM series is a vacuum cup specifically designed for thin steel sheets with oil film. Made of Elastodur, which boasts approximately three times the abrasion resistance and ozone resistance compared to NBR (nitrile rubber), it achieves a long service life. Its soft, bell-shaped design with a large stroke is also suitable for gripping workpieces with curved surfaces, such as wheels. Furthermore, grooves on the suction surface allow oil to escape, making it ideal for high-speed transfer of thin steel sheets with oil film. A brake foot is included, which suppresses workpiece pulling-in and deformation when gripping thin workpieces. Available in a wide range of sizes from Φ30mm to Φ115mm, it can accommodate various applications.
