High-performance small turning inserts ISO-EcoTurn
ISO-EcoTurn is a series of high-performance small turning inserts developed by Tungaloy. By reducing the size of the inserts while maintaining machining performance equivalent to standard-sized inserts, it helps reduce costs and increase production efficiency. It supports various types of materials such as steel, cast iron, stainless steel, heat-resistant alloys, and titanium alloys.

- Cost-effectiveness with small inserts
Reducing the size of the inserts helps lower material costs and decrease tool change frequency, resulting in a reduction of overall production costs.
- High Machining Performance
The inserts have the same thickness and chipbreaker geometry as standard-sized inserts, supporting a maximum depth of cut of 3 mm and providing excellent machining performance. This ensures precise and stable chip control and machining.
- Flexible Holder Design
A cartridge system is available for holding small inserts, which can be mounted on existing standard holders without needing to change the holder. This reduces the number of tools in stock and increases tool application flexibility.
- Diverse Insert Geometries and Grades
New insert geometries such as GNMG and FNMG have been added to meet diverse machining requirements, along with the latest grades such as CVD-coated T9200 and other grades, available for selection based on the workpiece material and operating conditions.
