High-precision modular turning tool system ModuMiniTurn
ModuMiniTurn is a modular turning tool system developed by Tungaloy, designed for use in Swiss-type machines and small lathes. With its modular design, it enables quick and easy tool changes and setup, thereby increasing production efficiency and reducing downtime.

- High-Precision Positioning
The connection system between the modular head and the shank is designed with a high-precision coupling mechanism, ensuring the cutting edge position has a deviation of no more than ±5μm. This maintains machining accuracy after tool changes.
- Fast Tool Change
Tool changes can be easily performed by simply loosening the clamping screw, significantly reducing tool setup time and improving machine productivity.
- Diverse Modular Heads
Supports various applications such as front turning, back turning, grooving, threading, parting, and Y-axis turning, covering a wide range of operations within a single system.
- Internal Coolant Supply
All modular heads are designed with internal coolant channels, allowing high-pressure coolant to be supplied directly to the cutting point. This improves chip evacuation and extends tool life.
- Y-axis Machining
Enhances chip evacuation downwards by feeding in the Y-axis instead of the X-axis. This improves chip management and increases stability during machining.
