Capsaicin-blended Sheet Test
Capsaicin ingredient is blended into the sheet to repel rats that chew through the sheet and invade from outside.
The newly developed sheet and the conventional product were folded in half, 10 units of solid feed for rats were placed inside, and the perimeter was secured with staples so that the feed inside could not be removed without making a hole. This bag was placed in a cage containing one black rat, and the test ended when a hole was made in either one.
