This Prysmian Group catalog presents a comprehensive range of Building Wires & Low Voltage Cables, manufactured by MCI-Draka Cable Co., Ltd. in Thailand, adhering to TIS 11-2553 and IEC Standards, and certified with ISO 9001:2015 for quality assurance. The products feature high-conductivity oxygen-free (HCOF) copper conductors, boasting 99.9% purity, a density of approximately 8.90 g/dm³, and >101% IACS conductivity, ensuring superior electrical performance and efficiency. The extensive product line includes various building wires such as 60227 IEC 01 (THW) single-core PVC insulated for general wiring, 60227 IEC 02 flexible single-core for appliance connections, 60227 IEC 10 multi-core PVC insulated and sheathed for exposed or raceway installations, VAF flat-type for surface mounting, NYY for direct burial, and VCT flexible multi-core for mobile electrical equipment. These wires are rated for 300/500V or 450/750V and operate at 70°C or 90°C. The low voltage power and control cables section offers CV, CV-FRD (XLPE/PVC 90°C) for fixed industrial installations, CV-SWA (armoured) for underground laying, CVV and CVV-S (copper tape shielded) for supervisory and process control circuits, and HO7V-K/HO5V2-K flexible conductors for various applications, with voltage ratings up to 0.6/1 kV. Bare stranded copper conductors are also available for grounding purposes. Technical information provides detailed specifications on conductor materials, including conductivity and density of metals, electrical formulas, temperature correction factors for conductor resistance, AC/DC resistance ratios, flexible cables and cords data, inductance and inductive reactance calculations, properties of insulation and sheath materials, and standard coefficient of conversion, ensuring comprehensive technical support for diverse electrical projects.
