Daido Steel (Thailand)_Company Profile_EN
Precision Forging & Cold Rolling Parts.
Daido Steel (Thailand) Co., Ltd., established in January 2015 and commencing mass production in February 2018, is a specialized manufacturer providing high-quality forged components for the automotive and agricultural industries. Located in Pinthong5 I.E., Sriracha, Chonburi, the company operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daido Steel Co., Ltd., with a capital stock of 750 million THB. The company's advanced manufacturing capabilities are built upon two primary technologies: Horizontal Hot Forging (SHF) and Cold Rolling Former (CRF). The SHF is a robust horizontal forging machine capable of applying a maximum pressure of 1300t and operating at a high speed of 50 SPM (3,000 P/H). A key technical advantage of the SHF is its gravity-independent design, which allows for 2-3 times faster production rates compared to traditional vertical presses, alongside efficient lubricant water release from the die, ensuring consistent quality and productivity. The CRF process further enhances product versatility and precision. It enables high product yield and the rolling of a wide spectrum of sizes, from small to large. This technology is particularly adept at forming diverse and complex shapes, including precise grooves on both outer (OD) and inner (ID) diameters, which is crucial for specialized components. The CRF significantly reduces material stock removal, leading to cost efficiencies and the achievement of highly precise component geometries through cold rolling. Daido Steel (Thailand) maintains a comprehensive production infrastructure, featuring 4 cutting machines, 1 SHF forging line, 1 automatic normalizing furnace, 2 shot blast machines, and 3 CRF lines. This setup supports a broad range of product sizes, with capabilities for widths up to 80mm and outer diameters reaching 125mm for SHF products and up to 180mm for CRF products. The company's product portfolio includes critical components such as various gears, clutch hubs, and sleeves, with O.D.s typically ranging from φ76 to φ146, all engineered for high performance and durability in their respective applications.
