Tungaloy's MillLine TUNG TSHRED is a high-performance rough shoulder milling cutter featuring new CVD grades for powerful and efficient machining, especially with long overhangs. Its anti-chatter design incorporates serrated cutting edges for smaller chips and rigid triangular inserts for stable clamping. The intelligent, user-friendly design includes Z-offset flutes that ensure adjacent inserts remove material left by the previous one, resulting in a flat machined surface, and requires no specific insert positioning as all cutting edges are identical. The bottom insert corner is strengthened to resist fracture. Two insert types are available: TCMT-NMJ for roughing with serrated edges and TCGT-MJ for finishing or general square shoulder milling with precision-ground peripheries. The PREMIUMTEC grade lineup, including new CVD grades T3225 and T1215, utilizes a special surface technology that enhances coating smoothness and toughness, improving resistance to chipping, built-up edge, and fracture. This system offers a broader application range, superior tool life, and increased productivity compared to conventional tools.
