It features four selectable control modes for optimal weld quality: secondary constant current, secondary constant voltage, a combination of both, and secondary constant power control. A key technical highlight is its robust GOOD/NO GOOD determination system, incorporating both Comparator and Envelope functions. The Comparator allows setting upper and lower limits for up to four parameters—current, voltage, power, and resistance—to ensure process consistency and alert for deviations. The Envelope feature dynamically monitors waveforms to guarantee consistent resistance change rates. An optional displacement measurement function further enhances precision by measuring electrode penetration and stopping welding at a preset displacement value. The IPB-5000B significantly reduces weld current ripple to one-third of conventional models, maintaining a low peak current and constant current for superior weld stability.
