■ Non-contact seal technology to reduce power consumption for 24-hour operation
In wastewater treatment facilities, aeration and agitation processes account for a large proportion of energy use. The BO type has eliminated the conventional contact-type oil seal method and introduced a shaft seal structure (patent pending) that adopts a unique "non-contact seal (Frikiri method)." This suppresses power loss due to mechanical friction and contributes to the efficiency of the required power.
Furthermore, by combining this non-contact seal structure with an intake silencer that secures a wide flow path area, operational costs can be reduced compared to conventional models (such as the BH type). Although it varies depending on conditions, the annual average reduction is about 10-15%. In a reduction example (at 30kPa: comparison between BE100H 8.23 m³/min 6.4kW and BO100 8.57 m³/min 5.6kW), the energy-saving rate is approximately 12.5%.
Especially at wastewater treatment sites where 24-hour continuous operation is required, the difference in power consumption significantly impacts annual electricity bills. Additionally, through the suppression of energy use, it leads to a reduction in environmental impact.
■ New silencer with air-layer structure to reduce low-frequency noise
In factories or public facilities close to residential areas, low-frequency noise generated from the blower's intake port can be an issue. In the BO type, the structure of the intake silencer has been reviewed, and a design with a new air layer has been adopted. This suppresses the low-frequency noise characteristic of roots blowers and contributes to a noise reduction of about 2-3 dB(A) compared to conventional models.
Also, by securing a wide passage area inside the silencer, the pressure loss during intake has been improved from the conventional 3.0 kPa to 0.8 kPa. As the pressure loss decreases, the inflow air volume increases, enabling more efficient air supply.
Furthermore, the compact design with reduced height compared to conventional models supports space-saving when updating existing equipment.
■ Integral rotor and shaft structure supporting long-term continuous operation (Integral rotor/shaft structure, Non-contact seal)
In wastewater treatment as water environment infrastructure, stopping the blower poses a risk directly linked to the deterioration of water quality. Anlet's roots blowers are manufactured with the rotor and shaft as an integral unit, designed to be resistant to loosening or damage even during long-term continuous operation.
Furthermore, since it uses a non-contact seal, wear of the shaft seal part is reduced, extending the life of the machine. This leads to a review of maintenance cycles and the maintenance of stable air supply performance in 24-hour operation.

■ FAQ
Q1: How much power reduction can be expected by upgrading from conventional models (BE, BS, BH types) to the BO type?
A1: Although it varies depending on conditions, a power consumption reduction of about 12.5% (0.8 kW) compared to the (BE100H) has been shown. In this case, it translates to an annual reduction of about 3 tons of CO₂ emissions. *CO₂ emission factor surrogate value: 0.441 kg-CO₂/kWh At sites with 24-hour operation, it contributes to both cost suppression and environmental load reduction.
Q2: Does the improvement in silencer performance affect the installation space?
A2: Due to the review of the silencer structure, the height dimension is designed to be lower than before. The overall specification is more compact.
Q3: Do you support energy-saving upgrades at factories in Thailand?
A3: We have a support system through distributors in Thailand. We handle energy-saving renovations of wastewater treatment equipment, replacement from aging blowers made by other companies, and local maintenance.
