TCPP Catalog

Enhances fire resistance in polymers.

TCPP (Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) Phosphate) is an organophosphate-based flame retardant additive primarily used in the production of polyurethane foams and plastics. Its main function is to effectively reduce flammability and improve the fire resistance of materials such as rigid and flexible polyurethane foams, PVC, and various resin systems. Key features of TCPP include its robust flame-retardant performance, excellent compatibility with polyol systems, and ease of integration into manufacturing processes. This clear to pale yellow liquid is widely applied in flexible PU foam for furniture and bedding, rigid PU foam for construction, and plastic compounds. Technically, TCPP is classified as an organophosphate, presenting as a clear to pale yellow liquid with good compatibility with polyol systems. For safe handling, it is essential to avoid skin and eye contact, utilize appropriate personal protective equipment as recommended in the SDS, and store it in a dry place at normal ambient temperature. It is supplied in IBCs of 1250 kg and drums of 250 kg.
