Electric Parallel Gripper EPG40-050 | FAIRINO Collaborative Robot Compatible
Product Features
Electric Parallel Gripper EPG40-050
This is a compact and lightweight electric parallel gripper that can be easily attached to FAIRINO collaborative robots.
Since stroke, speed, and gripping force can be adjusted, it flexibly handles workpieces of various sizes and materials.
It can be utilized for various automation tasks such as pick and place, loading and unloading workpieces to/from processing machines, component assembly, alignment, and packaging.
By combining it with FAIRINO collaborative robots, we can propose a complete solution including both the robot and the gripper.
Easy Connection to FAIRINO Collaborative Robots

This electric gripper is designed for attachment to FAIRINO collaborative robots.
It supports Modbus RTU (RS-485), allowing the robot to control the gripper's opening/closing and gripping conditions.
Reducing the effort of individually selecting robot and gripper combinations enables smooth construction of automation equipment.
Adjust Gripping Conditions According to Workpiece
Gripping position, operating speed, and gripping force can be adjusted.
It can grip objects according to their characteristics, not only hard metal parts but also resin parts and easily deformable workpieces.
Furthermore, by changing the finger tips to match the workpiece shape, it can accommodate various shapes.
Compact and Lightweight, Reducing Load on Robot
Due to its compact and lightweight design, even when attached to the robot's end effector, the impact on the payload capacity can be minimized.
Combined with small collaborative robots like FAIRINO FR3 and FR5, it is also suitable for space-saving automation equipment.
Main Applications
- Component pick and place
- Loading and unloading workpieces to/from processing machines
- Component alignment and sorting
- Component holding in assembly processes

Proposed Together with FAIRINO Collaborative Robots
Not only the EPG40-050 unit itself, but also FAIRINO collaborative robots, mounting adapters, gripper fingers, pedestals, and control settings can be discussed.
If you are unsure which robot to choose or want to confirm if it can stably grip the object, please inform us of the workpiece's shape, dimensions, weight, and work content. We will propose a configuration tailored to your application.
From simple movements to complex automation, we also support program creation
For FAIRINO collaborative robots, movements for basic transfer and pick-and-place tasks can be set by teaching.
On the other hand, complex automation, such as continuous execution of multiple processes, switching operations based on workpieces, and linking with PLCs, sensors, and processing machines, requires specialized program creation.
SHODENSHA (Thailand) supports customers to enable implementation even without specialized programming knowledge, from creating programs tailored to work content, to linking with equipment, and commissioning.
You can consult us from the stage of "I want to entrust this task to a robot."
It's not a problem if the implementation method hasn't been decided yet. Please tell us about the task you wish to automate.
