Fully Integrated Mold Production and Maintenance System in Thailand

In mass production of automotive parts in Thailand, if a problem occurs or a mold needs modification, sending it back to Japan causes production delays and high logistics costs. To resolve this, Matsuda Denki (Thailand) Co., Ltd. established an in-house mold department at our Thailand production base in 2025, with Japanese engineers stationed on-site. Although current operations focus primarily on mold repair and maintenance, we plan to begin actual mold manufacturing starting this year, aiming to successfully build our first mold by the end of 2026.

Manufacturing molds in-house reduces reliance on procurement from overseas countries like Japan, South Korea, or China, thereby lowering transportation costs and shortening lead times. Furthermore, our fully integrated internal workflow enables rapid and smooth communication and detailed adjustments, ensuring a fast and stable launch for new projects.

Integrated Contract Manufacturing: From Plastic Injection and Switch Assembly to Harness Processing

Dividing production steps among multiple suppliers can increase logistics costs and obscure quality responsibilities. Our company provides a completely integrated contract manufacturing service, from plastic injection molding using internally produced molds to switch assembly and wire harness processing. Additionally, we support potting processes for waterproofing and dustproofing electronic parts using urethane, epoxy, or silicone resins, as well as low-pressure molding processes within our factory.

Continuous manufacturing processes reduce the risk of product damage during transit between stages, and having a single point of contact minimizes administrative burdens. When issues arise during actual production setup or when specifications change, we can rapidly coordinate technical adjustments between the injection molding and assembly departments.
