Yokohama Rubber Integrates Hydraulic Hoses Under the Versatran Brand and Launches New ISO Hose Series

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. announced that it will
integrate its three core overseas high-pressure hydraulic hose series—Exceed,
Versatran, and 100R1/100R2—under the single brand name Versatran
starting this October. The move aims to strengthen global brand recognition and
competitiveness, along with the renewal of hose labels and part numbers to a
unified global standard.

At the same time, the company launched a new
ISO18752-compliant hydraulic hose, developed from the former Exceed series.
The new hose offers flame resistance, up to 20 times higher abrasion
resistance, and anti-static properties, making it suitable for harsh
environments such as mining operations.

This brand integration is part of Yokohama Rubber’s YX2023
medium-term management plan, which focuses on expanding its hose and couplings
business to enhance competitiveness in the global hydraulic hose market.
