The AMADA MM-601B Force Gauge is a handy and high-accuracy instrument specifically engineered for quality control in resistance welding applications. This portable, handheld device, weighing 500g (including nickel-hydride batteries), utilizes a load cell for precise force measurement, allowing it to be easily carried and used anywhere within a production site. Its compliance with RoHS standards also ensures ease of international export. Operationally, the MM-601B boasts a user-friendly design with only four buttons, offering switchable measurement units between kilograms (kg) and decaNewtons (daN), and a convenient single-button zero adjustment. The unit is robustly constructed with a cover panel providing excellent dust and oil endurance, ensuring reliability in industrial environments. From a technical perspective, the MM-601B supports a broad measurement range of weld force, from 0.20 daN up to 931 daN (or 9310 N when paired with the MA-522-01 sensor), achieving a measurement accuracy of +/- 5% of full scale. It functions with a series of separately sold force sensors (MA-520-01, MA-521-01, MA-522-01), automatically identifying the connected sensor type. A crucial feature is its external input for measurement HOLD, which automatically captures and displays the peak weld force upon activation of a micro switch on the weld head. Additionally, an analog output terminal enables connection to external measurement devices such as oscilloscopes.
