The AMADA FINE SPOT-INVERTER IS-800A / IS-1400A series offers DC inverter welding power supplies engineered for high-quality welding and improved fusing through precise waveform control. These units are suitable for applications such as crimping terminals with covered or stranded wires, brass terminals, and multiple wires. Key features include pulse limit control, voltage compensation for detailed parameter settings, and robust ground fault/short-circuit protections for enhanced safety. The welding frequency is finely adjustable from 600 to 3000kHz in 100Hz increments. The system supports up to three controllable welding stages, each with independent pulsation and control mode settings. Specific models (IS-800A/1400A-20-□□) integrate two-channel analog output terminals for force control with electropneumatic proportional valves and analog input terminals for force measurement. Additionally, welding can be precisely stopped at a set displacement by connecting a displacement gauge. The IS-800A model delivers a maximum output current of 800A (3% duty), while the IS-1400A provides 1400A (3% duty). Both models operate on 3-phase AC power and employ water cooling. Various control methods, including primary/secondary constant-current, constant-power, constant-voltage, and constant-phase, are available, ensuring versatile and precise operation for demanding spot welding applications.
