Key Features of the SmartMini Compressor (SMP)
The SMP is designed as a compact compressed air or vacuum source for automation systems. It is easy to install and operate, making it suitable for applications where installation space and operating noise are important considerations.
- Compact, lightweight, and easy to install
The horizontal model requires an installation area of only 144 × 190 mm, which is smaller than an A5 sheet of paper. The unit weighs only 2.4 kg, making it suitable for installation in machinery, robots, and AMRs. - Noise level below 50 dB
The low operating noise helps reduce noise in the workplace, making the unit suitable for laboratories, production lines, and other areas where a quieter working environment is required. - Oil-free system for easy maintenance
The pump system does not use lubricating oil, helping reduce the risk of oil mist being generated by the unit and lowering maintenance requirements. - Easy plug-and-play operation
Simply supply power to the unit, and it will automatically generate compressed air or vacuum and control its operation according to the preset values.

Positive Pressure and Negative Pressure Models
The SmartMini Compressor is available as both a positive pressure model for supplying compressed air and a negative pressure model for generating vacuum. Horizontal and vertical configurations are available to suit different installation spaces.

Positive Pressure Type / Compressor
For supplying compressed air to pneumatic equipment:
- SMPP4Y: Horizontal Type
- SMPP4T: Vertical Type
Negative Pressure Type / Vacuum Pump
For generating vacuum in workpiece gripping or suction systems:
- SMPV4Y: Horizontal Type
- SMPV4T: Vertical Type

Installation, Control System, and Important Considerations
- Multiple installation methods to suit different applications
The unit supports installation using rubber feet, bottom mounting, or an L-shaped mounting bracket. - Supports 24 VDC and an optional AC adapter
The standard input voltage is 24 VDC. An optional AC adapter is available for use with a 100–240 VAC power supply. - Easy connection to control systems
The unit is equipped with an I/O interface for stopping and restarting operation, monitoring pressure status, and providing error notifications. - Monitoring through a communication port
The communication port allows users to check error history, I/O status, total operating time, and motor operating time, helping support maintenance planning. - Important operating considerations
The positive pressure model does not include an internal filter or pressure-regulating device. A water separator, filter, and regulator should therefore be installed as appropriate for the application. For the negative pressure model, a filter should be installed on the suction side to prevent dust and contaminants from entering the pump.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Does the SmartMini Compressor (SMP) require a separate drive unit?
A: No. The SMP is a complete unit with an integrated motor and control system. Simply supply power to the unit, and it can generate compressed air or vacuum.
Q: What applications is the SMP suitable for?
A: It is suitable for robot hands, vacuum pads, AMRs, compact robots, laboratories, and machinery that require a compact, low-noise compressed air or vacuum source that can be installed in a limited space.
Q: Is it necessary to install additional filters or accessories?
A: Additional equipment is recommended according to the application. A water separator, filter, and regulator should be installed with the positive pressure model. For the negative pressure model, a filter should be installed on the suction side to help prevent contaminants from entering the pump.
