The KOGANEI Elewave Series Electric Three-Jaw Hand (EWHD) is a compact, high-rigidity electric actuator with a thin profile, ideal for robotic applications. It features a standard hollow hole for versatile customization, such as routing cables or tubes, and an internal connector for reliable relay cable replacement. Models in the series (EWHD9-EWHD100) offer maximum gripping forces ranging from 9-15N to 100-210N and opening/closing strokes from 6mm to 30mm. Powered by a 2-phase stepping motor, all models achieve a maximum positioning speed of 15mm/s and a repeatable positioning accuracy of ±0.03mm, operating within a 0-40°C temperature range. Control is provided by either the EWHC-TH (point input type) or EWHCC-TH (CC-Link remote device type) controllers. Both support closed-loop control, PTP (Point-to-Point) movement, and force control, with the CC-Link variant offering communication speeds up to 10Mbps. These grippers are ideal for precise and reliable handling tasks in diverse robotic configurations, including multi-joint and SCARA robots.
