Launch of End-to-End Palletized Transport for International Shipping Reducing On-site Work Time and Labor Burden, as well as Wooden Pallet Waste

Komeri Co., Ltd. — headquartered in Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, and led by President Yuichiro Sasage — and Nippon Express Co., Ltd. — a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and led by President Shinjiro Takezoe — have introduced JPR’s rental pallets for the import of products developed in-house by Komeri. Through this initiative, the companies have achieved end-to-end palletized transport for international shipping.

In the logistics industry, where labor shortages are becoming increasingly serious, there is a growing need to address long working hours and heavy physical burdens caused by manual cargo handling at logistics connection points. The government is also encouraging companies to take measures to resolve these issues.
