■　Cut-to-Length Processing from a Single Piece: Reduction of Scrap Material and Minimization of Inventory Space

In the manufacture of machine structural parts and industrial machinery parts in Thailand, purchasing fixed-length steel tubes from general distributors may result in a large amount of scrap material after cutting. This not only creates unnecessary material costs but also imposes the burden of securing storage space for scrap material within the factory.

FUSOH TUBE PARTS (THAILAND) CO., LTD. maintains a large inventory of STKM carbon steel tubes compliant with JIS G 3445, including both seamless steel tubes and electric resistance welded steel tubes (ERW), at its warehouse and own factory in Chonburi. Using high-speed circular saw cutting machines and automatic band saw cutting machines, we accept cut-to-length processing according to the dimensions required by customers, starting from a single piece.

By cutting materials to specified dimensions from our domestic warehouse and delivering them in a ready-to-use condition, we reduce the need for customers to purchase unnecessary machining allowance and reduce the burden of secondary processing within their factories.

As a result, customers can accurately manage material budgets according to actual usage, while significantly reducing scrap material and eliminating excess inventory space within their warehouses.

■　Integrated In-House Secondary Processing: Improved Accuracy and Maximized Assembly Efficiency

When steel tube materials are sent to multiple suppliers and processes such as cutting, drilling, lathe machining, and welding are requested separately, not only does the management workload increase, but risks such as accumulated tolerances and delivery delays also become higher.

At our own factory in Chonburi, we provide a wide range of secondary processing through an integrated in-house system, including CNC lathe machining, cutting and drilling using a 3D fiber laser, centerless grinding, honing, and assembly using welding robots.

By completing all of these processes on our in-house production line, we prevent scratches and dents that can easily occur during transportation between external factories. In addition, production is carried out under a strict dimensional control system managed by locally stationed Japanese engineers and specialized staff.

This enables customers to receive processed steel tube parts in a condition that can be directly incorporated into the final product. It reduces the management workload of purchasing personnel while maintaining high-precision tolerance designs according to drawings in a stable manner.

■　Japanese-Standard Quality Control and Traceability System

Components used in industrial machinery and structures require high strength and structural stability. If material certificate management or dimensional inspection systems are insufficient, this may lead to defects during the assembly process and, in the worst case, serious risks such as structural failure during operation.

We have installed a high-precision coordinate measuring machine in our own factory and conduct quality control based on strict inspection standards. In addition, we thoroughly implement a traceability system that links the mill sheet issued by the steel manufacturer with the final product after cutting and processing on a one-to-one basis.

For all STKM steel tube parts, chemical composition and mechanical properties can be checked and certified based on official inspection certificates, preventing the mixing of unidentified materials and ensuring the reliability and transparency of components.

This allows receiving inspections by customers’ quality control departments to proceed smoothly and enables products to be introduced into mass production after confirming compliance with design specifications. It also contributes to reducing the risk of long-term defects after operation begins.

A1: Yes, it is possible. FUSOH TUBE PARTS (THAILAND) CO., LTD. has established a strict quality control and traceability system and manages lots from the Mill Sheet of procured raw materials through to the final product after cutting and processing. We issue Mill Sheets required for customers’ receiving inspections and quality approval procedures.
