Air intake hoses Thailand
Air intake hoses
Air intake hoses serve a sensitive function on your vehicle. They are connected to your engine or turbocharger. Depending on whether your engine is natural aspirated (NA) or turbo charged (forced induction), air hoses typically have two functions:
The first and main function of the air hose is to feed cool ambient air from the external environment, typically through air box channels from the front grill into the engine throttle body or turbocharger, through a vacuum.
With the advancement of modern day engine management systems and fueling systems, another purpose of the air intake hose is to house the critical air flow meter in both petrol and diesel applications.
While air hoses are simple in nature, they serve critical functions. If your car has a punctured or leaking air hose, it would cause very poor performance in the engine. Without replacement, it could cause critical engine failure due to the extensive heat generated when running rich, as well as potentially causing fault codes in the engine management system.
As with all our parts, Mchanix uses high quality materials such as natural and synthetic rubbers to manufacture premium quality air intake hoses that support great driving comfort and vehicle safety.
