ECOSAS Powder is a coagulant for wastewater treatment that utilizes "Shirasu," a natural volcanic ash-derived material. It efficiently coagulates and separates oils and suspended solids, contributing to reducing the burden on the wastewater treatment process. Jointly developed through industry-academia collaboration with Miyazaki University, it is a product that balances environmental consideration with workability.

Features of ECOSAS Powder
① Excellent Coagulation and Separation Performance
It efficiently captures fine oil droplets and suspended solids, forming large flocs. It can also handle emulsified wastewater and wastewater containing n-hexane.
② Easy Operation with No pH Adjustment Required
It can handle a wide pH range from weakly acidic to alkaline for extended periods, thus simplifying the pre-treatment process. It does not require specialized operators and contributes to reducing the burden of daily management.
③ Reduces Burden on Subsequent Processes
The formed flocs are easy to dewater, contributing to improved sludge treatment efficiency. It can also lead to shorter treatment times and more efficient waste management.
④ Environmentally Friendly Natural Material
The main component is a natural Shirasu mixture. As an inorganic material, safety is considered, and it contributes to efforts to reduce environmental impact.

It has a proven track record of coagulating heavy metals and hazardous substances such as fluorine, lead, arsenic, selenium, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, and phosphorus.
Due to the complex porous structure within its fine particles, it efficiently captures oils and heavy metals.
