Kayabrid Catalog

Kayabrid is an advanced compatibilizer for nonpolar resins and fibers (glass, carbon, natural), significantly improving mechanical properties (e.g., impact strength, flexural modulus) and filler dispersibility. It achieves this via high molecular weight and grafting rates (e.g., 002PP-NW: 2.0% denaturation, Mw 77,000), fostering strong interfacial adhesion and molecular chain entanglement, as confirmed by SEM and microdroplet tests. Kayabrid provides approximately three times higher molecular weight at the same grafting rate than conventional products. Applications span compatibilization, surface modification, and adhesion in composites and films.
