Developing Core Manufacturing Talent in Thailand.

This catalog outlines comprehensive personnel training services and a manufacturing management level test designed to cultivate core manufacturing talent in Thailand. The training program, co-developed with the Thai Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI), focuses on essential management skills like Industrial Engineering (IE) and Quality Control (QC) for production site improvement. It comprises three stages: learning through materials, comprehension tests, and optional schooling; qualification exams including written and interview skill tests; and joint certification by TPQI and JMAM. The curriculum spans four levels—Manager, Front-line Supervisor, Sub-leader/Foreman, and Basic (New Recruits)—covering five key areas: Role, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety/Environment. For instance, the Intermediate Level (Sub-leader/Foreman) involves 4 months of study with 4 textbooks and 5 comprehension tests for 1,850 THB/person, while the Basic Level (Operator) is 3 months with 3 textbooks and 4 tests for 1,600 THB/person. Additionally, the Manufacturing Management Level Test assesses the fundamental knowledge of manufacturing management (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Logic, Calculation) for leaders and supervisors. This 90-minute, 40-question multiple-choice test (paper or web-based) costs 800 THB/person. It offers benefits such as benchmarking against other companies, identifying weak areas for targeted education, and confirming QCD understanding. Results include individual and field-specific scores, radar charts, and comparative analyses, serving as valuable input for employee training and performance evaluation.
