Heat Treatment Division – List of Products Handled

DOWA's Heat Treatment Division offers surface modification and heat treatment services. These include **carburizing, nitriding, sulfonitriding, PVD/DLC coatings, vacuum heat treatment, vacuum brazing, aluminum solution treatment, shot peening, and steam oxidation**. Enhancing fatigue, wear, corrosion, and seizure resistance, they achieve surface hardness from <100Hv to 3200Hv at temperatures from room temperature to 1250°C. For materials like carbon, alloy, stainless, and tool steels, and aluminum alloys, these are used in high-load components, machine parts, molds, and cutting tools. Max workpiece size up to approximately 1300x1230x1230mm.
