VERZONE AF-22 is an environmentally conscious, water-soluble corrosion inhibitor providing high rust prevention and humidity resistance for multi-metals including steel, copper, brass, zinc, and galvanized steel, comparable to anti-rust oils without stickiness or unpleasant odor. It contains no nitrite or amine and prevents discoloration of copper alloys. Applied as a 5-10% aqueous solution (8-10% for cast iron) via dipping, spraying, or brushing, typically at 30-50°C for 2-3 minutes, it dries without washing. Its physical properties include a light yellow clear liquid appearance, specific gravity of 1.02±0.02, and pH of 10.5±0.5. Performance tests confirm its efficacy, with humidity resistance for iron equivalent to MIL-P-116 light lubricant.
