Siam Daiso Industries Co., Ltd (SDI), established in 2004 and certified with ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, and IATF16949:2016, specializes in the manufacture and electro-deposition of pressed and welded metal parts, primarily serving the automotive (85% of sales), electronic (10%), and construction equipment (5%) industries, with key customers including Toyota Boshoku, Aisin, and Honda. Operating from a 8,050 m² facility in Amata City Chonburi, Thailand, SDI's core capabilities encompass comprehensive metal processing, including pressing, spot welding, robot welding, and fully automatic electro-deposition painting (EDP), alongside assembly parts export and a dedicated die maintenance team. The company's advanced press lines feature progressive presses up to 500 tons (e.g., AMADA SW500LX with 2500x1400mm slide area, 0.6-9.0mm stock thickness) and tandem presses up to 150 tons (e.g., WASHINO CX2-150-DI), utilizing double link, knuckle link, and mechanic link technologies, complemented by a 6-axis robot line for precision operations. Welding capabilities include robot spot welding with 90kVA transformers (e.g., 19,600A max shortcircuit current, 3,920N electrod force) and stationary spot welding, as well as robot arc welding using OTC DAIHEN NV62-NEFN & FD11-JV0000 robots with DM-350/M-350L power supplies and a 1402mm working range, alongside caulking machines. Quality control is ensured through a suite of precision instruments, including a MITUTOYO CMM (X:705, Y:705, Z:605, 0.0001mm resolution), KEYENCE wide area 3D measurement systems (VR-5000/VR-5200) and image dimension measuring systems (IM-7020), HUNG TA tensile testing machines (50KN capacity), torque meters (0-200Nm), FISCHER/PHYNIX coating thickness gauges, ASCOTT salt spray testers (450 Ltrs. chamber), and OLYMPUS digital microscopes, all supported by Autodesk AutoCAD 2023 for design and engineering.
