How Ozone Technology Works

The PJ-2 odor removal process operates through the following steps:

1. Air Intake:

2. Oxidation:
   The air comes into contact with ozone gas generated by the UV ozone lamp. The ozone reacts with odor molecules and breaks down their chemical structure.
3. Treated Air Emission:
   After the odor molecules have been broken down, the treated and sanitized air is released back into the same space. The ozone concentration is continuously monitored by a sensor before the treated air is discharged.

Safety Standards and Ozone Concentration

User safety is the highest priority. The PJ-2 therefore incorporates the following control systems:

  The unit continuously monitors ozone concentration during operation.
• Ozone Concentration Control:

• Automatic Safety Shut-Off:
  If the ozone level exceeds the safety threshold of 0.05–0.08 ppm, the ozone-generating lamp automatically switches off immediately. Operation resumes when the concentration drops below approximately 0.02–0.05 ppm.

A: Very little daily maintenance is required. The main maintenance item is replacement of the UV ozone lamp according to its service life in order to maintain maximum performance. Please contact our team for the recommended replacement interval based on actual operating conditions.

A: Yes. Ozone gas can act against airborne bacteria and microorganisms, helping improve hygiene in the working environment while also reducing unpleasant odors.
