Operating Mechanism and Separation Capability

Fluids contaminated with paint sludge from the painting process, including both water-based and oil-based fluids, are fed into the Centrifugal Separator.

The system then continuously generates powerful centrifugal force equivalent to 500–1,500 times the force of gravity, causing the sludge to separate from the fluid and adhere to the inner wall of the rotor. Meanwhile, the cleaned fluid is continuously returned to the clean fluid tank.

Q1: What types of paint sludge can the system separate?
A1: The system supports both water-based and oil-based fluids, including synthetic resin sludge, silicone, lacquer paint, epoxy paint, and polyurethane paint.

Q2: Is it necessary to use chemicals or coagulants together with the system?
A2: The use of a coagulant is recommended to reduce the stickiness of the paint sludge. Without a coagulant, highly sticky paint sludge with a candy-like consistency may adhere firmly inside the machine and become difficult to remove. Operation under such conditions is not recommended.

Q3: Is it difficult to remove the separated sludge?
A3: It depends on the model selected. With a manual model, the operator must remove the rotor, which weighs approximately 5–15 kg, and scrape out the sludge manually. With an automatic model, the system automatically scrapes the sludge into the collection tank, eliminating the need for manual sludge removal.
