The KOGANEI SHM61 Series Systematic Handling Module is a compliance module designed for error absorption, offering excellent responsiveness, reproducibility, and a robust locking mechanism. In its free state, rolling steel balls, a restraining ring, and a spring provide slight movement and a gentle centering force. When air pressure is applied, an inner plate is pushed down, engaging positioning steel balls to precisely lock the module at a predetermined reference position. Key specifications include an operating pressure range of 0.2-0.6 MPa, a temperature range of 0-60°C, and compliance capabilities of ±1.0 mm (X-Y), -0.5 mm (Z), ±2.5° (θ), and ±0.6° (α). The repeatability during the locked state is a highly precise ±0.02 mm. Allowable mass ranges from 1.5 kg to 4.5 kg depending on the model. This module is ideal for applications requiring precise alignment and error compensation in automated assembly processes.
