The KOGANEI VYP Series Vacuum Handling Unit is an integrated suction transport device designed for efficient material handling, incorporating ejectors, pressure sensors, and vacuum pads. It features a lightweight design suitable for mounting on small robots and is available in three types with varying payloads: VYP03 (2.5kg), VYP05 (4.5kg), and VYP10 (7.0kg). The series offers a wide selection of vacuum pads and robot adapters to match diverse workpieces and robotic systems. A significant technical advantage is its reduced compressed air consumption, achieving up to 90% lower usage than existing Koganei products by minimizing piping volume, which also results in less exhaust noise and contributes to CO2 reduction. Optional fall prevention check valves enhance safety by preventing workpiece drops in case of suction failure. This CE marking-compliant unit is ideal for applications such as collaborative robots and auto hand changers, providing stable and efficient handling solutions.
