The KOGANEI MJM Series Manual Hand Changer is designed for quick, manual attachment and detachment of robot tools, significantly enhancing productivity and simplifying setup without requiring external power or tools. It boasts a high repeatability of ±0.01mm and a compact design, being 10% thinner than previous 10kg payload air-actuated models. Available in three sizes for 3kg, 10kg, and 20kg payloads, the series integrates pneumatic interfaces (3 ports for MJM3, 6 ports for MJM10/MJM20) and diverse electrical interfaces. These include compact, solder, D-sub, and non-contact electrodes. The non-contact option is particularly suited for harsh environments, offering a 2-5mm transmission distance and ±3mm misalignment tolerance. A robust fall prevention mechanism ensures secure tool holding even under overload. This system is ideal for efficient tool changes in various robotic applications, including those with limited space or electric-only tools, contributing to reduced installation time and equipment costs.
