Non-Contact Transfer Components_Catalog
This catalog presents KOGANEI's Non-Contact Transfer Components, an innovative series designed for the damage-free and precise handling of delicate workpieces. The core operational principle involves blowing air onto the workpiece, creating a vacuum through a jet of air from a round air channel for lifting, while simultaneously forming an air cushion that repels the workpiece when it approaches too closely. This dual action ensures a non-contact hold, preventing any pad contact marks or scratches on the surface. Key features of these components include their powerful suction force, capability to handle diverse materials such as glass, semiconductor wafers, and even porous or irregularly shaped (convex/concave) workpieces. They require no maintenance and maintain a clean picking surface because they do not draw in surrounding dust. While a guide is necessary to prevent horizontal drifting during non-contact transfer, the components are also effective for positively contacting and holding elastic bodies. The product line includes models NCT20, NCT30, NCT40, and NCT60, varying in size and lifting force, from 0.9N for the NCT20 to 6.0N for the NCT60. These units operate with an air pressure range of 0.1 to 0.7 MPa (15 to 102 psi) and have a consumption flow rate from 20 l/min to 210 l/min (ANR). Technical specifications detail port size as M5x0.8 and an operating temperature range of 5 to 60°C. Optional enhancements include NBR or silicone bumpers, pressure sensors with vertical or horizontal cables providing analog output (1-5V, -101.3 to 0 kPa), and photoelectric sensors (e.g., KEYENCE FU-35FA) for precise detection. These non-contact transfer components find extensive applications across various industries, including electrical, semiconductor, food processing, printing, medical, and liquid crystal manufacturing. They are ideal for processes involving manufacturing equipment, transfer equipment, packaging machines, and assembly machines. Specific workpiece examples include CDs, DVDs, circuit boards, glass sheets, paper, vinyl, semiconductor wafers, mirrors, and even items with rough or dust-coated surfaces, where preventing damage and contamination is paramount.
