Features of ecomaru
ecomaru is a purging compound for resins blended with ultra-fine, flexible short glass wool fibers.
By using shorter and finer fibers than general glass fiber-blended products, it physically removes contamination adhering to screws and cylinders. It is designed to enhance cleaning performance while minimizing scratches inside molding machines.
Main Applications
Measures for Black Specks and Contamination
Resins and carbonized residues adhering to the inside of molding machines can peel off during reheating after holidays or shutdowns, causing black specks and foreign matter contamination.
When adjusting molding conditions does not resolve defect rates, removing leftover contamination inside the machine is necessary. ecomaru can be used to clean molding machines experiencing recurring black specks and contamination.
For medium and large molding machines that have not undergone disassembly cleaning for extended periods, it serves as an effective cleaning method prior to considering disassembly.
Color Change
ecomaru can be used for color changes under conditions where previous material colors are difficult to remove, such as PP black masterbatch.
Purging color components inside the machine prevents color residue from leaking into subsequent materials, reducing startup purge shots and inspection workload.
Purging Flame Retardant Resins
Depending on molding conditions, flame retardant resins can cause additives to carbonize and remain inside the machine.
