The pump is capable of stable operation across an exceptionally wide pressure range, from atmospheric pressure down to its ultimate vacuum. Technically, the FT3-L Series provides a pristine vacuum environment by operating without internal lubricants, thereby preventing any contamination from water or oil in the exhaust gas. This addresses critical drawbacks of conventional oil-sealed rotary pumps, which suffer from rapid oil consumption and degradation, oil mist at low pressures, and oil backflow. Furthermore, its design ensures minimal wear, facilitating long-term continuous operation and reducing the need for frequent maintenance. It effectively handles dry gases, unlike both water-sealed and oil-sealed pumps, and allows for the efficient recovery of condensable gas drains.
