VERZONE WAX FD-824

VERZONE WAX FD-824 is a high-performance rust preventive wax offering excellent rust prevention, film retention, and workability. Its thixotropic property ensures uniform coating, preventing drips and maintaining a designated film thickness (over 50 μm) even on edges. It's ideal for automotive closed sections, underbodies, export machinery, outdoor buildings, and metal formwork. Benefits include a flexible, self-repairing coating that prevents rust progression, and the ability to form a uniform, particle-free thin film from microparticulated wax. It dries quickly to a non-sticky finish. Key specs: light brown viscous half-paste, 30 wt% nonvolatile content, 5,000 mPa·s viscosity (20°C), 42°C flash point, and 1-2 hour drying time. Performance shows no rust after 1,000 hours in salt spray and 5 years indoor exposure (at 50 μm). Recommended coating thickness is 40-50 μm.
