The AMADA WELTOUCH CT-110E/CY-210E series represents advanced single-phase AC welding power supplies, meticulously engineered for precise and programmable welding, particularly suited for high-tensile steel plate applications. These units feature an intuitive LED screen for displaying weld schedule numbers, current, and set times, supporting fifteen distinct weld schedules with nine current steps. Operators can select from various control modes, including primary constant current, secondary constant current, and power supply voltage compensation, ensuring adaptability to diverse welding requirements. Technologically, the system employs sophisticated thyristor-based phase control for both primary and secondary current feedback, or source-voltage fluctuation compensation. A key feature is its three-step welding capability, incorporating UPSLOPE and DOWNSLOPE functions with multiple stages (Squeeze, Weld, Cool, Slope, Hold, Off) for intricate weld profiles. Integrated current and conduction angle monitors provide real-time process oversight, with the conduction angle monitor supporting 1 to 180 degrees across 15 schedules. A protective touch screen cover ensures durability in industrial environments. Comprehensive status monitoring is facilitated by three counters—Total, Shot, and Production—each with a range of 0 to 9999. The CT-110E (vertical type) and CY-210E (horizontal type) models operate on a welding power source range of 220-480V AC. They offer a wide current setting range from 1.0 to 80.0kA, maintaining a current accuracy of ±2% against various load fluctuations. Control speed is either 1/2 cycle for secondary constant current or 1 cycle for primary constant current/voltage compensation. Timer settings are highly flexible, supporting up to 15 schedules with cycle counts up to 99. The system also features extensive error outputs, including self-diagnosis, start input, current setting, and thyristor short-circuit errors. An optional water-cooled SC-181C-00/-10 thyristor contactor is available, capable of handling primary welding currents up to 1050A at 100% duty factor, enhancing the system's robustness for heavy-duty applications. This series provides a comprehensive solution for industrial welding demanding high precision and detailed process control.
